70G

The 70mm "G" closure is one of the most widely used sizes and styles in North America. This closure uses a 450 finish, the popular "home canning" size glass container.

The 70G also has several top styles for jar stacking and has a "home canning" style that provides that 2-piece home canning look.

This one-piece closure offers some distinctive features and can be customized to "Say Something" about your product. The 70G closures features are:

Available with or without a vacuum indication button
Can be printed with your logo, message or a picture showcasing our multi-color photographic lithography
May be embossed
Can be used with every available liner in our stock, such as pulp, or oxygen barrier Plastisol
Retort Plastisol liner is now stocked in a gold/buff finish with a button for canning processes that exceed 190°F

Stock colors are (exterior/interior) white/white, gold/white, gold/buff, black/white and generic print gold/gold. Red, green, and yellow are also available as non-stock closures. Salsa fillers utilize the red, green, and yellow colors to designate the temperature/flavor level for their product.

70G's without liners are often used as closure for candle containers.
