CRC / Pharma-Crc®

Penn-Wheeling Closure offers a complete line of metal/plastic SAF-LOK® child resistant closures (CRC) and now our new all-plastic Pharma-Crc®. CRC's are mandated by law in many applications in order to protect children from inadvertently opening pharmaceuticals, vitamins containing iron, and hazardous substances such as household products containing hydrocarbons.

SAF-LOK® outer cap is made of natural polypro, enabling the user to clearly see printed information
SAF-LOK® inner cap is U.S. tin- plated steel and our "in-stock, ready-to-ship" cap includes printed opening/closing instructions
SAF-LOK® cap has special pattern ribbed side that also aids in gripping for easy removal
SAF-LOK® over cap engages corresponding notches on the inner cap when pressing down for a custom fit

Our SAF-LOK® CRC is a steel undercap with a polypropylene transparent overcap. Coupled with our lithographic capabilities, we provide you with a package that is both functional and customized to your company's image.

SAF-LOK® CRC

You can customize your closure with colors, logos or product brand name. We currently produce SAF-LOK® CRC's in sizes 24mm, 33mm, 38mm, and 45mm - all 400 finishes. Available lining systems include heat induction and/or pressure sensitive.

Pharma-Crc®

We have also introduced this year our new Pharma-Crc® 33mm and 38mm all-plastic CRC. The Pharma-Crc® offers some unique features not found in other all-plastic CRC's.

Color over caps distinguish different medications or can be used as a color code for each user
A smooth over cap facilitates easy vacuum transfer during the packaging process in a pharmaceutical plant
Clear or tinted plastic over cap makes it easy to see the inner cap and instruction label
