70mm HomeStyle TwisTop™
The HomeStyle TwisTop™ is a 70 mm twist/lug closure with a Plastisol liner. It provides the functionality of a
twist/lug, while providing the traditional appearance of closures used in home canning.
This commonly used 70 mm tall lug closure size is used with high-speed filling operations. The HomeStyle TwisTop™ has the added appearance features of a home canning style CT closure, the knurls and a faux thread, but retains the high filling speed of the lug closure.

Ideas for new products come from either customer requests or from inside Tecnocap. A customer may want to make enhancements to the closure. A closure may be designed to match an existing or newly designed container. Market information may result in the development of a new closure or modification of an existing one. Each new idea is evaluated in different areas, such as potential volume, development costs, and other applications for the product.
The press lines print the decorative images with ink, sometimes applying multiple colors simultaneously. The warehouse in Warren stores over 100 different types of inks/coatings, and with the base ink system, can mix ink on-site to match thousands of different colors.

Once the product development team determines that a new product is economically viable, a prototype is created. The prototype may begin as a three-dimensional CAD drawing from which an actual physical prototype is produced or a concept may go directly to a physical prototype depending on the complexity of the new product. Feedback is sought from the customer, production and engineering staff. Revisions are made as needed and new prototypes are produced. Once the final product is developed, tooling, production lines and other equipment is produced.
