70mm HomeStyle TwisTop™
The HomeStyle TwisTop™ is a 70 mm twist/lug closure with a Plastisol liner. It provides the functionality of a
twist/lug, while providing the traditional appearance of closures used in home canning.
This commonly used 70 mm tall lug closure size is used with high-speed filling operations. The HomeStyle TwisTop™ has the added appearance features of a home canning style CT closure, the knurls and a faux thread, but retains the high filling speed of the lug closure.
The HomeStyle TwisTop™ comes in a 70 mm tall with other sizes in development.
A vacuum indicator and tamper evident button is an added feature of the HomeStyle 
TwisTop™. Plastisol is the standard
liner and a retort liner is also available. A gold exterior with white interior is most commonly used, but unlimited
colors and graphics can be added to customize your packaging needs.
38mm Tall CT
The unique gold finish and embossment, coupled with height, demonstrates our capability to provide custom closures to the market.
Tecnocap has developed new 38mm Tall CT at the request of CCL Industries, a leading manufacturer of aluminum beverage bottles. The 38mm Tall CT with Plastisol is available with and without a button, for hot and cold fill applications.
Plastisol CT Size Caps
Two new sizes of continuous thread (CT) closures with Plastisol have been added to the Tecnocap product offering, a 28 and a 33 mm. These two new Plastisol sizes were the result of requests from distributors to add these sizes to our product offering. These sizes are popular on hot filled specialty food and beverage products.
In addition to offering the 28 mm CT with Plastisol liner, we now have available a version of this CT with a smooth outer finish.
This unique, upscale version of a CT cap is accomplished with an aluminum outer cap, which hides the threads. The production and design of this cap is similar to the VIN-GUARD® II (ReCap Nov. ‘05, Issue 3) marketed to the wine industry. This new closure is called the VIN-GUARD ® III. While this product is currently being produced with black exterior and gold interior coatings, an endless variety of custom colors and prints can be added to the VIN-GUARD ® III.
